At June Baby Daycare, we are proud of our state licensed status. We believe that having certification from the state, with all the associated requirements, make us a space that is rich in educational value and safety that provides our families with peace of mind. Being state licensed means that:
Our space has been inspected by a licensing analyst, who has deemed it safe and educational. Licensing also conducts annual and surprise inspections to insure compliance
Staff has all required immunizations
Staff has training in first aid and CPR
Site has working fire and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher and an emergency disaster plan with local first responder contact information and predesignated evacuation locations
Individualized safe sleeping plans on file for all children
Supervision of children will always be within the state mandated ratios
In addition to state licensing requirements:
Our Program Director Eli Alexander-Tanner has a BA in Childhood Education and 30+ units in the field of Early Childhood Education including classes specific to children’s literature, physical education and movement and cognitive and language development.
All staff has Covid-19 vaccines and boosters
We carry private daycare insurance
